NorAsian is currently supporting the Philippines Department of Energy (DOE) in a comprehensive Information, Education and Communication (IEC) Program. This program informs local stakeholders of upcoming oil and gas exploration activities to be undertaken by the DOE and NorAsian in SC51 and to address any associated issues.

Together, NorAsian and the DOE are consulting and obtaining feedback from key stakeholder groups in Cebu and Bohol Islands on how the project minimizes environmental and social impacts. The IEC Program also aims to increase social understanding of the need for increased oil and gas exploration and development in the Philippines and respond to any questions regarding the project.
